A refreshed 2015 Honda CR-V is coming on the market in by the end of the year. This famous crossover is launched in 1995. Since then, it became one of the best selling vehicles in the class of luxury SUVs. It is known for its reliability and convinient for families and long trips. The fourth generation CR-V, which stands for Compact Recreational Vehicle, is getting some changes on the exterior and the interior. Also, engine performance on the new model is upgraded.

The design of the new CR-V did not go through major changes. However, many details are new and improved making it look more modern and comfortable. On the outside, there are new bumpers, reshaped grille and lights, as well as a new rear fascia. Two wheel options will be available – 17 inch alloy and 16 inch steel. Doors, windows and roof are reshaped to match the sportier look of the car. Also, new colors are added to the palette. The inside of the car looks pretty much the same. The cabin offers a lot of space and comfort. Technology has been upgraded and some new and useful infotainment and security system have been installed. One of them is Honda’s new HondaLink infotainment and navigation system.

Honda has yet to confirm which engine will be placed under the hood of the new CR-V. Some reports suggest that it will inherit the engine from the previous model. It is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 185 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque, matched with five-speed automatic gearbox. However, it is speculated that a more powerful powertrain could also be in offer. It is a direct-injected 2.4-liter with four cylinders, which is also installed in Honda Accord. It develops 189hp. If the rumors are true, this engine could be mated with CVT instead of the current five-speed automatic transmission.

2015 Honda CR-V – Price

It is possible that the new 2015 Honda CR-V will be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The price will range from $25,000 up to $32,000 depending on the trim level.
